Here was the pitch given to me, more or less Robert Kirkman style.

OK, here goes:

Panel 1: Setting: the nighttime campfire scene, AJ seated on the left, Rarity on the right.
AJ, smiling: ...An' that's the plan. Any questions?
Rarity, a look of mild horror on her face: You mean I have to spend the *entire* race covered in *mud*?

Panel 2: Rarity lounging in a mud-bath in the spa.

Panel 3: Back to the campfire; AJ pointing back at the previous panel with her right foreleg, her hoof breaking through the left panel border. She has an annoyed look on her face.
Rarity, sheepishly: Aheh, well, yes, good point...
and in a second word balloon, in smaller lettering: ...and have you been hanging around Pinkie Pie lately?
